Summary

GHK-Cu attenuated silica-induced lung inflammation and fibrosis in mice by binding peroxiredoxin-6 (PRDX6) and reducing alveolar-macrophage oxidative stress. No significant systemic toxicity was reported in the mouse study.

Limitations

Animal model plus in-vitro; not a human study; funded by Chinese national research bodies (declared).
